Mary Keepers has worked extensively as a professional singer, actor, director and theater educator throughout the Midwest. Since moving to Minneapolis from Wisconsin in 1984, she has worked as an actor/singer with Nautilus Music-Theatre, The Ordway Center, The Children's Theatre Company, New Classic Theater, North Star Opera, Illusion Theatre and Actors Theater of Minnesota. Mary's one-woman show, KEEPERS' CABARET, has been booked by countless clubs and organizations. She's also produced the show in concert at Hennepin Center for the Arts, various Church Music Series, Bryant-Lake Bowl Cabaret Theater, Betsy's Back Porch Coffee and the Minnesota Fringe Festival.

Performance credits in Milwaukee and Madison, WI and Chicago, IL include Skylight Opera Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, The Great-American Children's Theatre Company, Fireside Theatre, In-the-Round Dinner Playhouse and The Little Theatre on the Square in Sullivan, IL.

As a Director and Teaching Artist, Ms. Keepers was founder and artistic director of The Mayflower Theatre Project from 1992-1996, a successful south Minneapolis theatre arts school for all ages, where she produced and directed nine full-scale productions and taught classes and workshops to over sixty students. She was theatre director at Richfield High School, Richfield, MN for eleven seasons where she directed over twenty shows and created an after-school theatre arts enrichment program. She continues as a teaching artist at The Children's Theatre Company, a director at Youth Performance Company in Minneapolis and SteppingStone Theatre for Youth Development in St. Paul, MN.
